There are a lot of plugins out there to add a Pinterest feed as a widget on your WordPress website. But a student of mine was looking to add her Pinterest feed to a WordPress page, and we could not find a plugin to do this.

Until we finally found Ultimate Photo Widget. This plugin lets you add a feed from Flickr, Tumblr or Pinterest to your page. It’s not the perfect solution, but for now it’s the best we’ve found.

To get started, install and activate the plugin. Then go to “Ultimate Photo Widget” under your WordPress settings. You’ll see a screen that looks like this:

Choose Pinterest as the source and fill out the rest. Your Pinterest ID can be found under “settings” on your Pinterest page.

When you’re done, click on “save changes and generate shortcode.” Just copy and paste that code into your wordpress page (or post), and you’ll see your latest Pinterest Pins automatically shown.

The result is a feed that looks like this:

[ultimate-photo source=”pinterest” uid=”chrissnider” size=”192″ style=”tiles” num=”4″ shape=”square” align=”center” disable_link=”1″ ]

Here’s a good source for more Pinterest-related WordPress widgets.
