Chris Snider has spent the past 10 years pushing for innovative and creative ways to tell and present stories in print and online. He’s currently the Assistant Managing Editor for Digital Innovation at the Des Moines Register and an adjunct professor of journalism at Drake University in Des Moines.
He was previously editor of Juice magazine, news design director at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and a designer at Baltimore Sun.
Chris is a strong proponent of simple, clean design. He thinks all media organizations should look for ways to incorporate social media into their work. He’s currently obsessing with search engine optimization and getting information to readers on their mobile device.
If you would like to have Chris come talk to your group or business about how the digital world is shaping the future of media, you can contact him at chris@chrissniderdesign.com.
