Top 25 college newspapers on Facebook – January 2011

The top 25 college newspapers on Facebook remained relatively unchanged from December to January. Duke entered the list, but only because I couldn’t find its page last month. That knocked Florida out of of the top 25.

A couple notes:

  • I am now missing just three schools among the top 64 BCS schools: Mississippi’s Daily Mississippian, Clemson’s Tiger and Georgia Tech’s Technique. If you know of a Facebook page for one of them, please share.

    Hey Chris,

    I was looking for info on a college newspapers and stumbled upon this post of yours. Very useful! Thank you so much for putting it together.

    I’m curious if you’re going to eventually get into non-BCS schools (ie, Cal Berkeley, the Ivy schools, etc)?

    I absolutely intend to continue to grow the list. If you know of a specific school that should be on the list, please let me know. Cal Berkeley is on the list (at No. 7).

    The Daily Wildcat is inverted. It’s 2,173.

    @Andie – I’m assuming that is simply the growth you’ve seen since I took these numbers at the end of December.

    Although it is entirely possible I made an error!
