Yesterday I spoke at the Iowa High School Press Association fall conference in Iowa City on the topic of building a social media strategy.
But first I devoured these wings at The Vine.

As students walked into the classroom, I had each student fill out a quick two-question survey. The questions:
- What one social network is the most important to you?
- What social networks do you think you will be using in two years?
I gave them these options:
- Snapchat
- tumblr
- Vine
- Google+
- foursquare/Swarm
- Other__________
The results show that social media among teens is still a four-way race between Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat. And Pinterest isn’t out of the running.
But if students were forced to pick one, it was either Twitter or Instagram.
Here are the results (there were 27 total responses).
